Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Tool inputs: none are collected. Everything you type into a calculator is processed by JavaScript in your own browser and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
• Accounts: the site has no registration, no login and no user profiles, so no account data exists.
• Contact form: the form on the Contact page validates and displays your input locally only. It does not send anything anywhere. To reach us you must email us directly.
• Server logs: our hosting provider may record standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent and requested path for security and reliability purposes. We do not use those logs to build profiles of individuals.

2. How information is used

Because we do not collect personal data through the site, we do not use it for marketing, profiling, personalisation or resale. Hosting-level technical logs are used only to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

KeyForge sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party tracking pixels. If a tool ever stores a preference, it uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Do Not Track: we do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, because we do not track visitors in the first place. No personal data is collected regardless of your DNT setting.

4. Third parties

The site loads web fonts (Space Grotesk, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font file, Google receives a request that includes your IP address and the page URL. Google may use this request data according to Google's Privacy Policy. Aside from hosting and that font request, no third-party service receives data about your visit. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Google advertising and personalisation

KeyForge itself does not serve personalised ads. However, Google services (such as Google Fonts) may set cookies or use identifiers to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history across sites that use Google ad products. If you wish to opt out of Google's ad personalisation, you can do so through the following links:

You can also opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or by installing a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. International data transfers

Our hosting infrastructure may process requests in data centres outside your country of residence. Google Fonts requests are served from Google's global CDN, which may route your request to servers in any country. By using this site, you acknowledge that any information automatically transmitted in a request (such as your IP address) may be transferred to and processed in a jurisdiction different from your own.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights regarding your personal data:

• GDPR (EU/EEA residents): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The legal basis for any incidental processing (e.g., server logs) is our legitimate interest in maintaining site security and availability.
• CCPA (California residents): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the sale of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.

Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or erase. If you email us, we hold that correspondence only for as long as needed to answer you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

8. Children

The site is a general-audience technical reference and is not directed at children under 16 (or under 13 where COPPA applies). We knowingly collect no data from anyone, including children. No portion of the site requires personal information from a child.

9. Data retention and security

We retain no user-submitted data. The site is served over HTTPS. Since no data is transmitted from the calculators, there is no stored dataset that could be exposed in a breach of this site. Server logs retained by our hosting provider are kept only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes and are periodically purged.

10. Changes to this policy

If the site's data practices change — for example if we ever add a real server-backed contact form — this page will be updated before that change goes live. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
